SHAY SHARPE Other names: Kevin, anglo/latino Age: 14(chapter 1) Height: 5'4(chapter 1) Father: John Sharpe Mother: Lea Perez Garza Heritage: Hispanic/Irish A word from the character Savvas... Shay is a person whos always in the moment. She comes off as someone who's very optimistic and dim, while she can be pretty optimistic she is anything but dim, in fact she's smart, she knows what she's talking about whenever she opens her mouth, just sit down and talk to her and you will find out. It seems that Shay searches for danger,That is true in a way but she says she's only having fun,but I don't think she knows that it could turn sour one day. She tends to say whatever she wants and not think about the consequences untill the event is over,but unless she's seriously agitated her words have a ring of truth. Her best friend is Dani and they get along very well, but Shay pushes Dani, and that's good in some respects, she sometimes pushes it way to far. She will fight for Dani though. I really don't know anyone who's more protective of their friends than Shay.

I would not want to be in Dani's shoes. She's almost always depressed and she has reason to be that way. Sadly her mood keeps alot of people away, many of said people think it's an act but i've seen the bruises on her, I think her parents beat her but she always denies it. Even though people useually stay away from Dani she is constantly searching for a place to belong,hopefully we can help. Dani doesen't really know who she is or what can be done with who she thinks she is at the moment, I guess that makes her confused. Dani is a very cautious person. She's not brash or loud or anything of that sort she's the type that tends to think a situation through. Dani and Shay are "old" friends who found each other again, probably in the nick of time for Dani. Shay always pushes Dani to go out, meet people and all that fun stuff, sometimes though Shay pushes to hard and ends up getting Dani into a bit of trouble, Shay also pushes Dani into things that she's not entirely ready for.

Savvas seems to be a mentor to everyone. He's someone people can look up to though I bet alot of people don't think that when they look at him. He always tries to help when he can and alot of people go to him for advice, yeah I know he's still young but he's been through alot already. He always is able to diffuse a volatile situation with a few words, he brings people together, heh, that sounded very hippie though he's deffinately not that. How Savvas looks sets him back when it comes to jobs but he has alot of experience and his force of personality goes very far, hell when you talk to him you immediately like the guy. Alot of people claim to be really good friends with Savvas but few people actually keep up a real friendship with him.His love interests invovle pretty,skinny, angelic guys and being who he is he has alot of luck with those types and I just happen to be one of them giggle!
NIKKI KINCAID Other names: Nicolas Age: 19(chapter 1) Height: 5'11 Father: Thomas Kincaid Mother: Laura Miller Heritage: Scottish/German/Native American A word from the character Savvas... Nikki is the new bassist/singer for Burning Embers Which used to be Rio's band before he quit. Alot of people think that she became part of the band purely to gain popularity but I think she just loves to play and loves the band. Nikki is not what she seems, i've seen sides to her that noone else has seen so don't believe what you will most likely hear about her. She is a very uptight person, a bitch, spoiled brat I guess you could say none of that really makes her a bad person underneath, it was just due to some very early influences in her life. I can say that she does go out and gets what she wants though I don't think she would know what to do if she didn't have the financial backing. I know that Nikki has some real problems with Shay and from what i've heard Nikki used to pick on her alot when she was young.
RAZLY CRIPPEN Other names: Adia Age: 16(chapter 1) Height: 5'5(chapter 1) Heritage: African A word from the character Savvas... Razly is your typical party girl. She drinks she's loud and roudy but at least shes smart enough not to do hard drugs, thank goodness.She's a very level headed person and very tough. She's not afraid to show some muscle when she or one of her friends are attacked verabally or physically. She tends to express what she's thinking and to some what comes out of her mouth is leud but straight forward like Shay. My favorite thing about her is that she has a very large streak of sincarity. Razly and Shay have been friends for awhile and she was there when Dani and Shay found each other again. She supports Dani and Shay in whatever they do and it tends to add to the mayhem, ever since she met those two she's had a bit of a feminization curiosity when it comes to boys becoming girls even though she considers herself a lesbian.
LEA PEREZ GARZA Age: 45(chapter 2) Height: 5'9 Heritage: Hispanic A word from the character Carrie... My mama is a good person, I just want you ta understand that. She has trouble accepting some things and she's not quick ta change but she's always willing ta try. Part of tha reason she has trouble accepting some things is cause she is a catholic and the other part is that she believes that she's done something wrong in her life and this is how god is punishing her. No matter what though she loves us and always will My stepdad, John met my mama Lea in Veracruz mexico and I guess fell in love He was eventually able to bring her to tha states with me in tow. They married and soon after had Shay, well Kevin at tha time, but after he was born their marriage went downhill to tha point of divorce, ever since then John has been fighting for custody of Shay and it's taken a huge financial bite out of our family.
CARRIE RIOS GARZA Age: 19(chapter 2) Height: 5'7 Father: Leon Flores Rios Mother: Lea Perez Garza Heritage: Hispanic A word from the character Shay... I love my sis Carrie, I don't think she really understands that what I have ta go through is difficult. She's like tha opposite of my mom, she accepts things very easily. We are very close siblings and she's allowed me ta be myself and didn't join in tha negativity. My sis is ready to move out with her fiance an I think it'll last, they seem very close. Mom will never consider them married though since She went the completely opposite way of catholisim. Carrie's a pagan and kind of a hippie but not in one of those bad smelly ways, she's very old school pagan about it Carrie was born in Varacruz from a different father who my mom soon left. She grew up here in tha states. She's never liked my dad and he seemed ta not care about having custody of her which is good I guess but it shows ya that he doesn't really care at all. She's actually very interested in starting a business, a pagan retail store of all things, heh, though I really would be interested in seeing that.
